Marcus Wandt training at the European Astronaut Centre

ESA project astronaut Marcus Wandt follows training lessons at the European Astronaut Centre in Colgone, Germany. The Swedish astronaut is currently following a training programme to live and work in space, and meet the high standards required for human space flight. Marcus’s training takes place in Europe, USA, Canada, and Japan. He is getting ready to jump on a commercial spaceflight opportunity with Axiom Space. Marcus Wandt, 43, was selected in November 2022 as a member of the ESA astronaut reserve after a year-long selection process.
